Smart automation solutions from a modular concept

So much so, in fact, that it inspired the Bruchsal-based company to make the enjoyment of tea the main focus of its production line demonstration at the SPS trade fair in Nuremberg. Visitors will be able to discover the smart automation solutions that are behind this concept from 23 to 25 November, 2021 in Hall 3a at SEW Stand 411 – all in keeping with the trade fair's motto of "Discover Smart Automation".

This is where the MOVI-C^® modular automation system demonstrates its ability to realize unique applications with a maximum degree of standardization, connectivity and modularity.

SEW-EURODRIVE will be underlining this claim during the SPS 2021 trade fair with a fully automated production line that assembles and prints a customized tea box ready for dispatch. There are many different robotics applications to discover here, all of which are realized with software and hardware from the modular automation system.

Live demos are used to illustrate why working with digital twins is worthwhile, and how startup procedures can be significantly reduced. Visitors to Nuremberg can also gain first-hand experience of how the entire line was developed in a time-saving manner at an early stage of the project planning phase.
