At the end of June 2020, a 70-panel photovoltaic system was installed on the roof of the COPA-DATA headquarters in Salzburg and went into operation. More than one third of the location’s annual electricity demand will now be generated directly on site and be fed into the local grid of Salzburg AG. In addition, the system will serve as a testbed for the further development of zenon engineering for PV systems.

Due to the global coronavirus crisis, we organized our first joint partner and user conference – zenonIZE – as a virtual event over 16 and 17 June. The need to overcome geographical and technical boundaries was a recurring theme throughout the program.

Straton 9.4now supports TLS on both the DNP3 and IEC 60870 energy protocols, as well as the Authentication on DNP3, and the possibility for the user to do online programming from scripts.
